Hi, maybe I'm a complete idiot, but I'm trying to create a page on wordpress that members will go to after they subscribe to my newsletter, basically I want it to say thank you and click here for your free report. BUT I don't want that page to show up in my tabs or topics list. I want it to be hidden unless they sign up. Is there a way I can do that in wordpress, or do I have to create a mystery page somewhere else? I tried setting it to private, but then I couldn't get to it.

Although called Hide Post, this plugin can also "hide" pages . . .

    Hope it helps.

You're better of custom coding these things than using plugins. If you know HTML it's easy enough.

Also if you're using Google Sitemaps plugin you'll need to manually remove the post/page ID from there too.

Have you thought of turning the report into a pdf and then send members a download link?

My favourite theme (Atahualpa) allows you to exclude pages from the menu bar. That is how I deliver my products - I send purchasers to a hidden page (with a name that isn't obvious) that contains the download link.

All the content on those pages is in the form of a graphic - so nothing for Google to index.
