How Often Should I Email THIS Kind Of List?

INTERNET MARKETING

Ok so I'm working on my auto-responder series for a new niche. While I don't want to reveal what it is, I will say that it is pretty targeted and it's not at all business/IM related. I am writing the email series purely to increase my conversions over just having a review/lander and hoping for the sale. However... I'm not sure how often I should send emails. Some people are telling me every 1-2 days, others twice a week. And some going with the hybrid approach of starting with daily emails and then giving more space in between over time.

What strategy have YOU had the most success with and/or would recommend for a micro-niche list promoting an ebook?

If you are promoting an ebook in a non im niche, I would suggest that perhaps you want to followup at least 3-4 days emails apart. Otherwise your list would get pretty annoyed - at least that's what my list felt.. (even if you are providing tons of information)

  I will also go for once a week. Here is the way I see it.
  
  I look in my own email box, I only want to see your
  name occasionally. If I see you two or three times,
  you are either setting me up for a sales or you are
  selling each time.
  
  No matter how good your content is, I only spend around
  and hour each day reading.
  
  I'm very selective, multiple names over and over get
  deleted quickly.

Ok, I think I'm convinced to spread them out a bit. Lol having a list adds so many complications and I'm not even sure it will help with this niche ><

  Start by thinking about your perfect prospect. What's THEIR physiology?
  
  PLUS consider other techniques such as the 4 Day Cash Machine or the auto-responder series you talked about.
