Simple Machine's Help.
Is there anyway to set up moderation on a Simple Machine’s forum? I recently set up a paid advertising forum on a domain that I own. But it seems to be all or nothing with these permissions, either I allow people to post freely or take away posting ability completely which isn’t what I really want. I’d like to operate things the way that the Warrior Forum operates things with its classified section, allowing the person to post their advertisement first, the advertisement awaits moderation, I send them a link to pay for the ad once its paid for their ad is approved.
I have even thought about doing things on a membership basis where the person would simply pay a monthly fee which I would require upfront before approving their account, and as long as they pay that fee they’d be a full member and have all access and unlimited advertising.
