Traffic for a copywriting site - any suggestions?

Hi all,

I'm posting this here rather than in the copywriting forum because it pertains to traffic generation in general. I'm not too experienced with building traffic to this type of site and am wondering if anyone has any killer tips on how to start getting targeted traffic flowing to my copywriting sales page.

Currently I want to focus on FREE or very low cost options (although I know these may not be ideal) because my investment budget is limited at the moment. I don't expect to be able to drive a flood of traffic for free, I'm just looking for ways to get a few hits coming in.

    This business is all about knowing people. You have to make relationships, build a track record, and position yourself as one of the "go to" copywriters.

    Most of my business doesn't come from traffic as much as referrals from other copywriters or clients.
