Blasting Press Release To 100 Sites, is that a good idea?

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone could explain a strategy for blasting press releases across 100 sites.

Do you guys think that sending the same press release to 100 sites is a great idea?

If yes, how do you make the most of your press release which has been submitted to so many sites?

Do you spin the press release and then send it to these sites or you send the same press release often?

Any mind blowing strategies you use?

Heard many people use PRlog.com for free submissions as it ranks high in the search engines and many people even use the PRweb.com service.

Any clues? ideas? strategies?

I wish to make the most of blasting a press release to 100 sites and gaining horrendous amounts of traffic from all my submissions so please let me know what you do.

Would warmly appreciate it.

Most people in this industry have no idea what a press release is. So many people write an article and then stick a link at the bottom. That is not a press release. The purpose of a press release is to release something of news value to the press in hopes that they will report on it.

If you really want to get noticed by blog sites, online newspapers, etc, then you better have a real newsworthy reason for the release. Otherwise, it will wind up being filed in the round filing cabinet.

As for submitting it to 100 sites... If you have a true press release that is worthy of press attention, then by all means email it to the editors of every blog, magazine, and newspaper that covers your topic. You can do that in addition to submitting to PR service sites.

I would think if you got a real story then you do what all writers/journalists etc. do when they get the scoop, and send it out everywhere. By all means.

The sites that matter will know to reject crap if it's sent to them. They know a good news story when they see one!

I know what a real press release is all about.

To prove it, read one of the press releases I wrote:

US Unemployment Rate Crosses 10% in Oct? 09 Thus Growing Work From Home Jobs & Online Marketing

If you have any feedback, feel free to post it here.

However, I wish to know the strategy that you guys use to promote it within the search engines.

I am sorry I missed saying that I was talking about getting traffic from google, yahoo and other SE's for each and every press release I submitted.

I want to know the best strategy I could use for press release submission while I am blasting them to 100 PR sites.

Do you guys bookmark all of the press releases or you bookmark only a few of them?

Do you guys submit the press release feed to RSS aggregator sites as well?

    Please share a great strategy.

There are lots of tools around for blasting out press releases or you can just pay PRWeb and let them blast it out for you.

How much is it minimum? $80.00 right?

How has your experience been with PRweb?

I was thinking of buying multiple articles but the wise guy in me just said, "you buy traffic rather than hire multiple articles" and if something is going to give you traffic for the next whole year then why not?

Is it the $80.00 all WORTH it? Can anyone share the real traffic stats increase after blasting the press release through PRweb.com? It will be a blessing for sure if a members could share their experience with PRweb.

I would be interested in how you blast them to so many sites. Is there a Press Release blaster available?

I do it myself as I have a team.

If you want it done for your self, you can PM me your email address and I will send you more details.

    Thanks.

Yes, it's a fantastic idea. Not only do you run the chance of your story being picked up by major news sites if you have a well written and newsworthy story, which means traffic, the backlinks are great.

And yes, there is kind of a press release "blaster." I suggest Daniel Tan's WSO about the backlink syndication system.

Yes, press releases are intended for distribution. I would use all the channels to distribute the press release.

    Another most important question:

are affiliate 301/302 redirects allowed in press releases submitted to PRweb?

Please folks. I am waiting for someone to comment on this and help me out.

Looking for some serious help now.
