Steps 2 Success Affilliate Marketing

Hi,

I am a newbie to IM and exploring and learning, however I would like to know the main learning curves for a newbie in the door and an advanced marketer?

From all the research I have done so far I have the following please amend if you differ?

E.g.

1. Ambition & determination
2. Keyword research
3. Get website tracking tool
3. Build a simple website
4. Build squeeze/hub pages
5. Get traffic from various sources ideally free
6. Point them to a landing page
7. Build an autoresponder system
8. Give them free gifts

    Make sure you look at how some of those connect to each other. (ie., how does #8 Give free gifts connect with #5 get traffic?)
