Why Article Spinners (And Some Marketers) Deserve Ridicule

While someone who knows what they're doing may be able to spin an article and get decent results, I've seen too many results like the following to believe it's an exception:

At the time my wife and I absitively to move our ancestors into an RV or biking bivouac and reside on the road, we were active on 5 acreage in Alaska in a 3,800 aboveboard bottom house. We concluded up in a 26′ biking bivouac that has 208 aboveboard feet. How in the apple can a ancestors of four (and the kids are teenagers, not toddlers) abbreviate that much?

If you're apprehensive about active in an RV that may be the anticipation that keeps acrimonious abroad at you. Let me accord you some tips that we begin accessible and accustomed us to compress our apple after (much) pain.
Those are the first two paragraphs from an article I wrote and published on EzineArticles.com -- and rest assured that's NOT the way I wrote it.

It's a perfect example of why spinners have a deservedly bad reputation.

    Oh, that's not an exception.

There are better spinners out there, of course. Jonathan Leger's "The Best Spinner" is pretty good, and you won't get... that... from it.

And even better, he's signed it up with Mike Filsaime's service for affiliates... so most people don't want to sign up as an affiliate, and will just pass you straight over to his site without their affiliate info.

One of the hidden benefits of Mike's service for vendors.

I'm not sure why you are absitively thinking like this. The article in anticipation sounds quite acrimonious to me. How in the apple are you making this statement?

That's just broken logic. You're saying "If I've seen some badly spun articles then article spinners deserve ridicule".

The truth is, it's most often not about the hammer but about the mechanic. Article spinners are just tools, to save a lot of time. Somebody who knows how to use a decent article spinner can produce perfect spins 99.9% of the time.

There are actually two kinds of article spinners. Some are tools.

      Some are machines.

The latter are just universally crap.

You're right. There are articles spinners which are crap.

I might not found that fact dramatic, because with any type of software you'll find bad and good software.

The main point is that this kind generalization is wrong, article spinners in general don't deserve ridicule, because there are many which are good tools.

Milan, the problem is that when you do run across spun articles created using good tools by people who know how to use them, you can't tell they've been spun.

My policy has always been that if I can't tell, I don't care.

I'd like to see the software split into two different categories - true spinners (copy - paste - hit go - get crap) and rewriting tools (takes some thought and practice - and time - and yields good results).

Those in the latter category, I have no beef with and may even play with in the future. Those in the former deserve all the scorn they receive.

Yeah, thats why you really should either take your time and read it afterwords or spin more then just a word at a time. If you spin a sentence at a time or a paragraph it should be more readable.

It's a perfect example of somebody who's so lazy, stupid or

I agree with Milan. The tool shouldn't get the bad reputation, it's the person using it that deserves the flak, or more so, the directory that accepts such an article.

If the tool wasn't available then I could still knock out 50 articles in no time at all by manually writing pure crap so the problem will still exist with or without the availability of spinners.

FWIW, an hour or two carefully creating a spun article will produce countless, highly readable content that still reads far better than what many would consider acceptable by normal standards. You do not need to be an advocator of spun crap to see the usefullnes of an article spinner. Just use it properly, crap doesn't stop at the spinner.

I actually have content I've spun accepted into Ezine.

The fault lies not with the tools, but as you say with the operator.

I run a marketing blog host, and I can tell you that some of the crap that people post on their blogs is insane. In no universe will it gain them a sale. Unchecked and flame-thrown out by the thousand, I have no idea what they think they are achieving.

I must have missed something - not found a good spinner yet, so thanks for some pointers. But I reckon I can re-work 5 / 6 articles from a good 600-800 article without too much time/trouble.
