What is a decent click thru rate

I recently made few changes in my site and my CTR improved to 5.4% in a month - is it a good CTR or I still lag behind the best sites?

    After looking at your site, I'm not sure what you are trying to have your visitors do.
    Depending on what you are trying to accomplish, your results can be viewed from bad to great.

    Those numbers above are bad for an opt-in, at the low end of a presell, and fantastic for sales.

    YES ARROUND 5% is very good.

    i have sites with 1% and others with 10%.

    i really hard to think what improved it, anyway i think that if you embbed ads in your site to look naturally inside your text than you will have hight CTR
