I'm sick of manually typing "keyword" to find competition, is there a free tool that does this?

Warriors,

As most of you know, when you find a keyword the best way to find out the exact competition is to type "keyword" However, this is starting to become time consuming and irritating to me. Is there any free tool out there that you can just copy a bunch of keywords to and check an option to put quotes around it and give you the number of competing pages for each keyword.

Thanks in advance.

P.S. I am a member of nichebot, but the competition numbers are always wrong. So, I do know about nichebot, and find it unreliable for competition data numbers.

    Unfortuanately

I find the same problems as you are having and I also have a nichebot account

What I do is take what they supply and only look at the competition when I am serious about a certain set of keywords

    good luck

My Inz Tuel does this, but takes it a few steps further by using the 3 major "in" commands:

    Keyword in title
    Keyword in anchor text
    Keyword in body text

I find this to be a much more accurate gauge of homw many competing sites have done basic SEO.

I suggest making a list in Nichebot of all keywords that get about 40-50 searches per day, then run that list through Inz.

I have a little video about it here:

You can read more about it here:

Note: Inz is included in my Bombsquad WSO for free. You may want to consider membership vs. just buying Inz, if you are interested.

Google Ads are keyword rich and very competitive. One trick I discovered (and it is free) is to get a GoogleMail account, send an email from within the account to yourself, with the keywords in the body. Open your email and look at the Ads that were generated. Those Ads are competition. Surf to the sites, view the source, and grab the keywords directly from the competition.

Do this a few times and mix it up for different results, i.e. keywords on one line, keywords on seperate lines, the competition's main domain URLs, etc.

Do the same with Yahoo and MSN.

Last, know which sites backlink to your competition. Usually there are a lot of affiliates linking to the competition. Contact the competition's affiliates and offer a better deal. View the affiliates keywords as well.

Build a spreadsheet as you go, so that you get organized and can repeat the tasks easily in the future.

Is the information valuable? Sell it! Sell it by niche!! Or just keep it for yourself
