Hello,

I'm new here on Warriorforum and need some advice. Some people say that text sales letters are better than videos...I would like videos more because its personally and people can feel emotions...

what do you think? or what do you use?

thank for your help!

Video letters do serve their purpose. People prefer watching than reading. However, text letters do present better concepts than just videos.

The best is perhaps by using both. Powerpoint presentation with words on the page convey best.

    Hope it helps.

    Cheers

You are right Roychan.. PowerPoint presentation with video conveys information best for sales letter. I am going to use it my upcoming product launch..previously i was used face to face video for my free product..

      thanks..

    Hi Mario,

Although I am having good results with video type sales letters, text sales letters
are just as effective as they have always been. Combos of both also work.

It is hard to say which is better, some people respond better to video than to text
while the opposite is also true.

The best thing you can do is to split test the traffic you are getting. Untill you have
tested the spesific traffic you are getting, you will never know which works best.

    Regards,

It is a subject of testing. I would say whichever way you can convey you message best, do that.

From a buyers point of view I think written words will never go out of fashion but I like videos if it is well made. Most common type I see are the power point presentations and somebody reading the words that are on the screen, as if I can't read myself. To make matters worse, many sales videos don't have controls these days. You can't go forward, back, pause or stop and I have heard claims that they increase conversions. That maybe true but I noticed these videos are more often the boring types that fail to get my attention. The idea behind it is either you hear every word I have to say or get out of here. I get out of there every time.

I think this strategy is for people who know how to present. Then again, if you can do that, you wouldn't have to force people, they will listen to you anyways.

As a seller, I would like to use videos. But I will do anything (written words, video, audio or anything else) to get my point across and get the business. It will depend on the market and your skills.

    Best
