For Anyone Who Uses ADSENSE...
I've always wondered about this because back when an online game called Age of Conan came out I had a blog going pre-launch and into the first month I got about 50,000 unique views... my adsense revenue was $37.00.
Now, my goal back then wasn't monetizing a website, so they weren't in extremely prominent places (and since the game was new, there weren't any RELEVANT ads so I was getting paid basically for cost per 1,000 visitors, not clicks).
Just wondering, has anyone been able to monetize adsense blogs effectively to make, say, $100 per day? What types of ads did you use? How many blogs/sites? Did you get them to rank well to get residual traffic?
Just wondering, I'd like to do this as another income stream down the road and I figure ranking for random things you can blog about would be easier than ranking for terms that others are going for because a CB product exists or w.e..
