My Online Business.. Help Me Please???

Ok for those of you who don't know me, my name is C.J. Hallock.

A little history...

About 3 1/2 - 4years ago I had a friend approach me with this Idea of making money online and since I've always been the type to hustle in everything just to try and make it so that I can work for MYSELF and no one else I had to jump in!!

The problem was I didn't know how and I was spending $47 here and there buying ebooks and nothing worked!!!!

Then last spring I met a man who some of you know as GanderCo (Gary Anderson) and he introduced me to Lynn Terry, Frank Kern, Tiffany Dow and many others.

Since then I've put together a site called Stay Boosted and a few others read more ebooks bought a few hardcopy books audio books and honestly...

I'M LOST!!!

I've tried squidoo, blogging, social networking, youtube, I tried doing my own product and to be completely honest I believe I've had so many people tell me to do this and do that, that I have almost hit the point of not knowing what to do...

SO, I come to you, @ warriorforum asking for help, and/or guidance...

What am I doing wrong???

    It's not hard.

Sell something that people want (Keyword research)
Get targetted traffic (SEO or PPC)
Choose your monetisation method (anyone will work, Adsense, affiliate ads etc)

I know I'm simplyfing it but............it IS that easy.

You should know how to do everything with your experience so now go do it.

Writing articles and getting backlinks is a good place to start.

One thing that I learned from Travis over at Bum Marketing was that you dont search for a hot niche, you need to find your starving crowd and then match a niche up to that.

He has a website that is walking people through these steps over at www.projectmomblog.com

      I hope this helps you.

Ok its not that I don't want help I just don't want to work to make someone else rich while sweating to death for only $10 an hour...

The real question is how long did you spend on these various methods before you let someone else tell you to do something different? Each one of those will work by themselves to an extent and when you use them all together.

That's a HUGE problem with almost everyone that struggles. There is always something new that comes out or the lure of something better that distracts. Write your self a plan and stick to it long enough to see some solid test results. Then analyze it and re-adjust your plan as needed.

First - find something that is selling - something that there is a demand for.

Second - put together a VERY good offer for a similar type product - of course you have to develop the product first.

Then - test it here on the forum as a WSO. If it doesn't sell - tweak the sales copy and try again. (for MMO products anyway - if it's in a different niche, you will have to find a different forum or venue to test it)

The bottom line is that a good product that's IN DEMAND, with a good sales page and something to create a list will open the doors for you. After that - the sky is the limit.

    Hi CJHALLOCK,

Ask yourself this question: "What do I want?"

We offer consel through our own filters. I agree with Ernie's advice but you seem to need more than practical tips. I've been desperate and my first response is usually...."But I've tried that already!!!!"

Sit down today and write out 5 business or personal goals on a piece of paper. To move into the proper action know where you're headed. You're lost because you don't know specifically what you want goal-wise. This is OK. 95% of people are in your boat, spinning their wheels because they have no end destination in mind.

Once you set clear goals the means of how to realize them will flow to you. The advice of mentors will make sense. You move into action and think "Why didn't I do that 3 years ago?" When goal-oriented everything falls into place with ease.

I can tell you to run a blog, write articles and hit the social networking sites but if you don't know WHY you're doing these things you remain lost.

    I wish you the best!

I am assuming your site is stayboosted.com when I answer this. You talk about the Law of Attraction on there so won't don't you just promote something like that.

Maybe write up an absolutely fantastic post about The Science of Getting Rich - I'm talking over 1000 words of good solid content. Then sign up as an affiliate to Bob Proctors The SGR Program and add a few affiliate links throughout your article. Spend 80% of your time getting traffic and backlinks to that post using as many methods as you can.

That's just a suggestion. At this stage, I think you just need to focus on just one single thing until it works because you are reading too much and doing too much. Once you can get something working successfully then you will get the motivation to keep going. Only then should you move on to something else.

There are many models you can use to make money in the internet.

Since you've been around I'm sure you're familiar with most of them.

Decide which one appeals the most to you and creat a plan for that model and do it.

You need to be focused coz like I said there are many ways to make money. Don't spread yourself thin which in the end just results in failure and frustration.
