Best Way To Get Traffic To Your Product

Hi Guys

I have a product out and it is doing ok, I'm getting a good stream of traffic. It is mainly through affiliates though.

I want to get more traffic myself though. What is the most effective way to achieve this. Any techniques you have found effective.

I have been trying Twitter, I have a fair amount of followers but it does not seem to be too effective.

Anything you are doing in particular that makes it work?

There are so many ways to drive traffic to your product that it usually looks insurmountable. This is usually why so many people get into mental gridlock. The traffic method you select should revolve around the type of product you are promoting, only because not every product lends itself to every single traffic driving technique. Focus your time and efforts only on the applicable ones.

You are making this work at home stuff way harder than it is. Ready for some sanity? Clear your head and start over.

If affiliates are the ones driving traffic to your sites, why don't you spend your time getting more affiliates? Never hurts to take what's working and expand on it

I have to agree that Social Networking is an excellent way to get eyes viewing your product. Facebook can be extremely lucrative if you can market your product correctly to the already broken down demographic of users.

Everybody wants more affiliates... if you want to make more sales on your own, why not invest some of your profits in advertising via paid traffic sources - you already should know how your product is converting for your affiliates...

Expect most paid traffic sources not to convert as well as your product converts for affiliates, but it gives you an idea of how much you would make per visitor.

Paid advertising and article marketing if you really want to do it yourself.

I also agree with the posters above who suggested you focus on getting more affiliates. Let them spend the ad bucks and and hours to market the product.

Then use the time and money you've saved to develop another product.

Social networking sites are the best way to generate traffic to your website but mostly social networking sites are no-follow which again is a draw back in google point of view so better go for directory submission and do-follow blog commenting.

If you don't have a blog, install it and some plugins to have content automatically posted.

Then create an account at onlywire.com and signup with all the social sites they submit to.

Promote it over your Facebook Fanpage. I have recently setup a Fanpage and it greatly has contributed more traffic to different websites that I own.

just keep building up a list on twitter, on facebook & using SEO. Keep going on about your product in an interesting way and people will get to know about it.
I've done a bit of work getting outsourced people to build up facebook and twitter accounts to drive traffic, which can work well. Drop me a line if you want any help with that.

Try with Social Marketing first. It is a good source of traffic. If it doesn't work for you then maybe you could start to work on article marketing or other paid advertisements.
