How would you spend your minimal budget for traffic?

Hello Warriors,

I just stumbled on this awesome resource and I'm looking for some advice.

I have a year old pr4 website with some decent traffic (200 visitors/day). I have done absolutely nothing in terms of marketing, just some plain ol' seo, and the site was even featured in a local newspaper.

We are currently using adsense on the site and are hoping for even more traffic but have no idea where to take our revenue and effectively use it.

We were just about to spend $80 on a preweb press release, but decided it wouldn't hurt to ask for some advice! PPC, banner ads on other websites, etc.

If you're going to use PRWeb, I'd suggest waiting till they have another promotion. They have these often and you can get the same package for half the price.

Maybe you can go up a package for the same price.

Well the standard package is $80 and the next step up is $200. I've found a couple of coupons for 25% off, but don't know if they're still valid. If they were, that'd be $150 which I think is a little steep for my first step in paying for something!

Can anybody vouch for this? These type of offers have always seemed sketchy to me...

It all sounds too good to be true, and at the same time could devalue the credibility of an already established site...

Have you considered Ezine advertising?

Solo-ads.com, ezineking.com, soloadblaster are good places to source for ezines to advertise on.

PPC is also useful. How about facebook advertising? I used it recently and I really liked the targeting options it has.
