How do you (the webmaster) answer emails in your niche?

I developed a website in my niche with the purpose of doing affiliate marketing. It is in a niche that I have some experience with, but I am by no means an expert. I have been receiving a few emails asking me what this person should do or what that person should do. I honestly do not know how to answer them. I have posted holistic information on my site, but mainly the products I am promoting are suppose to answer all of these questions. But I don't want to tell someone, hey buy this and it will fix all of your problems.

Do you, as the webmaster, receive these types of emails?
If so, how do you respond?

It's honestly up to you. You don't have to answer every single email that goes to your way. If you think that answering emails will boost sales then go ahead; or alternatively have a FAQ and tell the readers to READ your faq before emailing -- this will decrease the email load by lots.

Outsource your questions and get someone else to do research for you.

Adding an FAQ section, as brieat stated, is always a good idea. Compile a list of the most frequent questions that you get and then contact the author. Tell him that you are an affiliate and these are the questions that you are getting. Ask him for detailed answers so that you can post them on your site and get more sales for him. There ya go... an entire section customized for you by the author of the product and it didn't cost you a dime.

Supply a small forum and answer emails questions through that, you only need to maintain them every few days maybe and people will naturally go there for answers
