Google AdWords Search vs Content Network

I am running a couple of campaigns for websites with sales letters and they dont seem to be getting many clicks from search network at all, most of the clicks (95%) come from content network and the conversion of the product is about 0.8%-1% which is pretty low considering that search network did about 2%.

Does anyone know of the guidelines for the website that would suite the search network for quality score as well as would show ads more frequently?

I am considering restructuring the websites into something else to suite AdWords just to get more clicks from search network.

any ideas and hints are appreciated

Have you done proper keyword research with a free tool? If you did and you still don't get traffic then you should try and rewrite your ad, Maybe your bid is too low to show on the first page of the search results.

    Two things:

    1) You ideally want to be capturing those visitors emails from both networks

    2) By building a "landing site", you can satisfy Google without compromising your sales letter.

Does that make sense or do I need to explain further?

I use google content because bids are lower but if i use google search, conversion rates improves.
