Quick Question about PLR

Just a quick question,

I have bought some PLR information and some of them don't allow you to change the graphics or allow you to give it away as a bonus...(as written in the terms)

So my question is:
Why do this? What does it matter to the PLR provider if you change the graphics or give it away as a bonus?

Afterall, they have already been paid for the product itself. It's not like they are getting royalty from the product...

Just curious to know the reason.

Thanks
D

It's up to the provider to set the rules... as for your question, I guess that is to protect the interests of other PLR buyers and the value of the products. That being said, it's very important to read the fine print before buying any PLR product.

If you can't do this I would not consider this PLR, my understanding PLR allows you do change anything

so as it was stated read the fine print and also get back to the seller and get your questions answered

Those people that offer PLR have different rights to their PLR products because different rights can add make a package more valuable for the purchasor.

Each PLR provider is pretty different when it comes to the terms. Personally, I'd want to be able to edit anything and everything (which is why my PLR membership allows members to do as they wish with the content)

The person to ask is the person who sold the Private Label Rights to you. While in general you can edit the contents and put your name on the product(s), there are restrictions in place usually in favor of protecting the value of the product.

I can understand why some won't allow you to use the product as a bonus, but yes I'm also wondering why they won't allow you to alter the graphics otherwise that would be harder for you to differentiate yourself from the rest of the PLR holders.
