YouTube Video Strategy?

Hey BJ,

Yes... there's definitely a strategy other than submitting videos, for example, adding others as friends, commenting on other videos, but remember that YouTube is essentially a video search engine, so you definitely need videos too.

There's a certain way of adding video and text content to YouTube that'll get you the best results. I.e. Title optimization, putting your link as the first thing in the description, using all of the 2000 character limit in the description, and utilizing the same tags as your competitors to show up on their "related videos".

I think that adding more and more videos is ESSENTIAL to getting more people to visit these videos of yours.

Look at articles:

If you write 50 of them, maybe 10-20 may get most of your visitors. Not every article that you write will bring you lots of visitors. Some will get you more and some will get you less.

Same thing with videos. You got to make more and more so that some of them get you more and more views and visitors to your website.

I know of a mom who records her kids sing, add closing credits, upload it to youtube and increased her ebay sales.

Watermarking means having a logo and/or url throughout the video. I do this for my clients who request it.

Like others have said, the key is MULTIPLE videos submitted just like article marketing, it isn't a one time deal - That is why I offered my latest WSO for ongoing video creation and promotion!

You have to keep doing it to see results

Doing the actual videos is what takes most of the time - so outsource that and do some other stuff yourself.
There is a lot of the things you can do, but you can start by doing 2 things:
Keyword research. Do the keyword research and base the titles on what people want.
Post "video responses" to get some extra traffic from popular videos.

I agree...doing the videos is where your time and effort is best spent. The next big chunk is keywords. You MUST choose these correctly else it will be a waste of effort.
