Power Site vs Mini Sites

Hey Warriors,

I have always been a fan of fewer, more powerful websites. However I am not looking at something that would be having different niches.

Question; do I

Build a power website putting diff niches onto 1 website

OR

Niche website for each market

    Definitely - A highly focused Site for each niche!

    You never want to distract your visitor by filling up your site with info and links that do not pertain to keyword terms they were searching for.

    I'm close friends with one of the major starting members that used the WordPress Mage program and she's been making a name for herself using the single-niche-per-site approach. Some of the biggest hitters were using precise niches that simply wouldn't go well with any other niche, and diluting the keyword concentration with other content would probably just lower your search-engine priority I would think.

    High quantity of highly specialized niches seem to work.
