Why Aren't My My Wordpress Text Links Aren't Working In IE

I posted this in the Web development forum, but no response. Thought I'd try it here.....


I built a blog for a customer, emailed her and told her I was done, and am now sitting here with egg on my face because she wrote to me telling me none of the text links work in Internet Explorer.

I use Firefox, but of course, should have checked the blog in IE before delivering it to her. Lesson learned. However.......

On the sidebar I have added a text widget and input a list of links. The text shows up but they do not show up as clickable links in IE.

Anyone have any ideas why this is happening?

    First an obvious question: Did you "a href" the links? In other words did you place them in the appropriate html code?

    Why don't you try adding the links to the blogroll instead?

      It is difficult to advise without seeing the code, but it sounds like the links may not be formatted correctly. Why not post the code for one of the links?

      I'm wondering the same, if it's just a list of links, wouldn't that work easier? (also for editing later on)

    I have never had a problem with links but I always test everything. I am sure the blog roll would work but check out the HTML first.
