Help, I need a plan.

Hello everyone.

Newbie needs your help.

I am in a need of a proper action plan. I don't know how to go further. This is the first time I have done something like this.

Here is the thing:

  • I bought a domain, and set up a landing page
  • I bought Aweber, so I could collect emails
  • I bought one PLR ebook, so I could give it away for free to capture emails.
Next what? I know I need traffic now to the landing page. But I really need a plan on how to do it. I just don't know what and how I must do now.

I have tight budget - $100 to spend, so that means in terms of paid advertising - I have near $0.

I know I should focus on free traffic sources, I just need a plan how to move further. The niche is weight loss for women.

I hope somebody will help.

    The weight loss niche can be tough to wedge yourself into unless you have identified a novel approach or a micro niche. That aside, do you have SEO, traffic generation methods, keyword identification, and the like well in hand? If so, you are already armed and dangerous. Select a marketing method that appeals to you, draft and approach and go for it. Far too many folks know how to do it, but they fail to execute... at all.

    If you want to focus on free traffic then you need to get stuck into building links to that page. The resources you can use are article directories; social bookmarks; web 2.0 pages such as blogger etc..; blog commenting & profile links.

    You need to get your keywords right though before doing anything regarding free traffic so make sure you target low competition long tail keywords for seo this will allow you to rank quicker and easier in google thereby getting traffic sooner to your site.

      If you're going for weight loss you'll need to "drill down" and find some less competitive keywords to get natural search traffic.

      It's good that you realise that you will need a good plan to follow because there are so many that don't get this part right.

    Write 3 articles a day and submit them to Ezine and other article directories use their resource box as backlink to your site also you can setup a blog @ Blogger or Word press post your articles on your blog. Also you need to comment on blogs and do forum postings as well. Weight loss is very broad niche you need to dig deep and narrow your niche like focus on mens with fat thigh or women's with big back arm or something it was just an example.

    Yes traffic is the next step. I love free traffic although it takes time. I always tell people to try traffic exchanges. Yes they take time. but if give them a chance and work about 5 or 6 of them every day for an hour for one month you will be surprised at the results.
    I wouldn't try PPC just yet. I hope this was helpful although it was a short discription

      You're going to become very frustrated very fast by the sounds of it.

      I would prefer to advise you to forget about the landing page and forget about spending the $100 on traffic.

      Instead to put the horse before the cart and concentrate on getting lots of traffic first.

      Then once you have a desirable level of traffic to worry about how to monetize it.
