Desireable Features for Clickbank Tracking Software?
1) When a sale happens link it to the details of the original visit. Like the article they linked from or the keywords they used if they arrived from a search engine.
2) Send me an email the moment a sale happens so I can setup a 'ker-ching' sound and do a little dance.
3) Have a simple analytics page which shows the click-through and conversion rates of different products along with the total sales with the keyword, article, referer site etc. In real-time.
4) Handle all the hoplink redirects or 'cloaking' or whatever you call it.
5) A lot of my blogs are long-tail and low-traffic and still make sales. Let me use a single Clickbank account with multiple blogs and still properly track all the different niches.
6) For a new site it would be good to get alerts sent out when I get a new visitor or hop, telling me where they came from and how they got there so I can quickly see what's working.
7) Tell me when Google crawls the site.
8) Send out like a daily or weekly summary of activity so I don't have to go logging in to everything all the time to find out what going on - it just lands in my inbox every day or week from all the different sites.
9) Handle campaigns like PPC. So far I've been focusing on organic traffic but want the option to do PPC or other paid ads, so the analytics should include PPC campaigns too.
10) Track visitors through an autoresponder so when they sign up on a squeeze page and later buy something from an email I can still see the keywords etc they used to get to the site originally.
11) When I add my own products track those sales as well.
12) Make a decent cup of coffee.
This isn't asking too much is it?
