Does anyone know how I can make my website into a forum. Does anyone here offer such service? I want to keep the site but add a forum page.

If you're using wordpress just have a look at phpBB, it's free and easy to install,

Or if you're using a hosting account that has Cpanel, look in Fantastic.. there's a range of free forums there, they are all pretty decent.

You can use sub domain or make a new folder. I would recommend vbulletin Version 3.8.4 if you can find one. Anyway that is what we did not too long ago, added a forum to our website.

Unless you a have a really good plan to make successful do not do it. I have a very sucessful website, I added a forum and almost nobody goes there, just my experience. It is a lot of work.
If you still want to do it a would recommend you uses Simply Machines Forum, easy to install...

I am not judged by the number of times I fail, but by the number of times I succeed. And the number of times I succeed Is in direct proportion to the number of times I can fail and keep trying.

I'll second the 'lot of work' part. I get over a hundred spammers for each genuine sign up. Some of it is unpleasant and you do want to have someone who can check the forum as often as possible.

I'll also second the SMF recommendation. It's free, automatic install with the DirectAdmin control panel, and one forum using it has over 3 million posts. I didn't check out phpbb first though and it is more common so it might have advantages.

Here is the link to the SMF support forums. Simple Machines Community Forum - Index Keep in mind that nearly every post in them was made by someone with a forum and you get an idea of the competition. Lots.

Yes indeed, it is lot of work and can be very difficult to get the forum going at fist but if you manage to make it work then it can really add value to your website. Do not give up the idea just because it could be difficult to do.

I like Xoops or Invision personally . phpBB has had some issues once or twice that have caused some big problems.

I also use SMF. Super quick and easy to install via your cpanel. Also has a ton of "packages" you can install to customize it. ( these act in the same way as plug ins do for wordpress ). If you need help just pm me. ( no cost )
