Marketing ?

I've been debating this ? internally so i'm going to pose it to you since you all are better marketers than I.

Two things

1) what can I do to spruce up the sales copy.
2) while i have exclusive templates should i offer a buyout on my limited niche templates. right now they are limited to 12 buyers but i could easily program it to let maybe one of the first buyers take full rights. after 5 firesale buyers the buyout option would be lifted

    You have a lot of advertising running on your site -
    if you want to sell your products stop advertising
    other stuff so brazenly.

    Your copy is barely there. I had to squint to locate
    your offer and even then it is very terse. I couldn't
    make out the templates because they are all teeny -
    so get some full-sized samples in there so people know
    what they are getting.

    If your graphics are better, say so - and prove it.

    The offer needs to make people think "wow. this is a great
    deal, I better grab it now while I can get it - and
    it's safe because there's a satisfaction guarantee -
    so if the templates don't work out for me I can get
    my money back. Cool. How do I order?"

      On the home page for your sales copy you need a call to action.

      Basically the only thing that I see on your main sales copy is a small text hyperlink.

      Are you going to show them templates? Then have big text blue letters or some other button saying "click here to see templates"

      If you're going to try to do a straight sale, I would add more copy,telling me why I would want your templates, what benefits I get out of it, and have a call to action to join your membership or order

    thanks. i do have a bigger preview when you click the images. i wanted to just keep it in the layout. maybe i could add a lightbox instead which might actually do a better job.

    as for the ads i guess i could yank those and just convert that bar to blog stuff instead i was just looking to monetize the site a little bit.

    Your right Frank as well. I guess I'll do like the last 3 templates of each series on the hompage using the small thumbs like the product pages without the links and just do as you suggest with the click here to see more ... link underneath

      I found the larger versions of the templates - but there is too much on the site. Adsense and bans and "advertisements". On the larger version of the products you want to sell I didn't care for the "buy now" button on every template image. What if they want more than one?

      The designs are very good - but they get lost in the crowd of money making efforts rather than pointed to as the focus.

      I'd say simplify the site and focus it on the designs you want to sell.

    thanks kay i'll remove that. as for the multiple order process .... i'll have to think on that one. i think it will be hard for the exclusive and firesale script i created and maybe get some bigger screens

      I don't know how you'd do it - but seems if you could have a "checkbox" or "add to cart" feature with one final checkout payment, it would be a better solution.

      Not an expert on that at all so others may have better ideas.

    yeah i think that will be hard. the first person to click will have priority then if someone else click it will have to tell them someone else claimed it. i probably can pull that off just locking the items to the ip address.
