There are numberous training course out there that will do the same thing but are a lot cheap that actually "hiring" someone to "mentor" you. Some of the coaching programs go for up to $900/month.

wow that is allot I tried a boot camp course and it did not go well at all I kept asking questions and since they had so many boot camps going on I never got the answers returned to me. So i am a bit skeptical at the training courses.

Keep a look out, I found a mentor for free. Not everyone charges money to mentor and sometimes in my opinion they are even better because they are not about the money.

You'd probably find one on WF if you play your cards right Read the posts, make comments, ask questions. I've found that people around here are very helpful and a lot of them are willing to help.

A quick way to learn is to ask a really stupid newbie question - you'd probably get a lot of replies setting you straight

But really just browse through the threads here and you'd get a lot of info and who knows you might even find a good mentor.

Any one could be you "mentor" really. There are few warriors whom I've bought products from that actually communicated with me via email. And I can honestly say that their my mentors, until recently...that's another story.

Anyhow, this forum is your all in all MENTOR. You have everything and everyone you need here. just email a few people, start a conversation, and build a relationship.

    Best Regards,
    UFG

There is a big difference between a mentor and a hired coach. A hired coach is paid to teach you how to perform a task or method. A mentor is a trusted councilor that helps you define your goals and achieve them. Mentors are usually people that you meet and they take an interest in you... enough of an interest to genuinely care about your success. You can "hire" a coach, but you really can't hire a mentor. Don't let anyone tell you different.

Your best bet is just to start networking with others doing IM. Most cities also have some local "meet up" groups as well.

Well put Brian, I couldn't have said it better. You really can't hire a mentor.

^^I agree you can't hire one. Usually it's already understood that they'll be getting a percentage of profits.

According to one of the greatest mentors of all time Daniel Pena:
        1. A mentor is significantly more successful than you
        2. more experienced
        3. older than you
        4. and you share a common interests outside your field of business
I highly recommend sending Dan Pena a letter to apply for his mentorship program. His website is Dan Pena - Business Success Coach, QLA Seminars, products
