There is no such thing as the perfect niche.

At this point, just pick one, any niche at all - good or bad. You may find one that's profitable. And if you don't, so what? You will have taken action and learned a lot.

You are getting hung up on "finding a niche", but you need to move forward.

Don't be afraid of selecting the wrong niche, and don't use it as an excuse to cover up fear. I'm not saying that this is what you are doing, but it is the case for a lot of people. If this applies to you, then you know what to do. If it doesn't apply to you, then we'll consider it a public service message for those who may be reading the thread.

For the record, high competition isn't the evil monster some people make it out to be. Think of competition as a mark of popularity and potential profitability.

    You can do this!

    All the best,
    Michael

p.s. As of this writing, there were 9 posts in this forum above yours. Just by reading those 9 subject lines, I saw 12 possible niches. They're all around.

Usually the most saturated markets are the easiest to get into. Make money, Weight loss...etc Just choose one and go for it. Also use ClickBank to research your niche as well.

    Best Regards,
    Anthony

Go over Amazon or Barns and Noble's website and look for niche idea from the category section once you kind of know what niche that you want go for then check the potential of the niche with following these steps to see if there is market for your products:
    1. ClickBank: find at least 4-5 books on your topic.
    2. Adword Ads: at least 8 ads needs to be running.
    3. Keyword: at least 50k search for your main keywords.
    4. Go to major book stores and find at least 2-3 magazines on your niche and check what kind of ads they running inside of the magazine. I've tried to make it easier to understand for you hope you got the message.

    Best of Luck!

I got hung up on that one too. I finally decided to just take the leap. I am still new and working on getting traffic to my website. I am in this for the long haul. I already have business plans for the future. However, I am not moving forward until I get this one going. At first I was all over the place trying to learn. Now I've committed to one road.

Step away from your computer and visit the real world. What topics are hot on magazine covers? What are people stopping to look at in large stores.

What are your friends buying or talking about? What item have you looked for and had trouble getting info about? What problems do your friends or family talk about that need to be solved?

Open your mind and LOOK around you - write down every 1-2 word niche idea that comes to you. Once you start thinking of ideas they will multiply. When you have a good list do the research to see which ONE or TWO of that long list has potential.

Dear April: I don't want any trouble from you.
January was long, February was iffy, March was a freaking dumpster fire.
So sit down, be quiet, and don't touch anything.

It can also be helpful to login to NeverBlue or another aff network and see what their best performing campaigns are. This will give you some ideas and get the gears churning in your head. I started with a 'free home security system' campaign that paid on zip submit. I didn't know anything about anything, but I created an LP that matched the offer LP and started sending traffic. Broke even but learned a lot!

Don't worry so much about competition. It is a good sign that people are making money within that niche.
