New Site...Getting a little traffic....Need Copywriters!!!

Hello All!

I own a fairly new site at 401kfundadvice.com

Right to the point.....I can write articles all day long. I know my product and I think I have something that I can create a business out of. I know keywords, I have started backlinking, blah blah blah.....

What I need is someone who can put together my "how it works" page and my "about me" page, and my "what you get" page to actually help sell my services.

I believe in my services. I believe they have incredible value to the right person. I believe are priced reasonably. These pages just don't seem to have "it", whatever that is....

Any help? Suggestions? Is there anyone who can point me in the right direction?

Thanks a bunch.
Jeff

  • I would recommend you hire some specialized writer for your content as it deals with financial services. Some one who knows the subject and who has experience writing on the topic. Do not waste your time and efforts with general SEO article writers

Though theoretically being that you sound as if you know your market and you have written lots of articles etc, you may well be able to handle the copy yourself - - chill n think about it - and maybe if the magic copy doesn't come to you, then consider outsourcing ...

I'm sure you've done this but... check out similar pages on other sites to get a feel of how they are approaching those pages and get an idea for what works.

You can find talented writers here in the Warriors for Hire section, or on freelance portal sites like Freelancer.com, Guru.com or eLance.com.

What I'd recommend, though - write your own drafts and hire a writer to help refine them, not start them from scratch. No external writer is going to be able to describe your services as well as you can (and the back and forth on getting the details correct for these kinds of projects can be time-consuming!), but they can help you pretty up the language to make it more appealing to visitors.

There are a bunch of copywriters here, including me, who could help you
turn your site into a more effective selling machine. Articles play an
important role, but when you need to get customers, they don't
substitute for "call to action" copy. Also, you need to be building a
list... so while your copy can ask for a sale right there, it's vitally
important you have an opt-in mechanism and "goodie" to get that
    list going.

I whipped out a report recently about how "goodie" or "widget"
marketing works. It's free at http://copymatch.com/report/emailwidgets.pdf

    Hope it helps you out.
