Impatient? Or Is My Market Too Competitive?

Hi, I'm brand spanking new on Warrior and so far I'm like a kid in a candy store. I've been struggling with guidance from friends and am getting a bit confused and lost at times. So I thought start with a question that has been plaguing me.

Did I decide on a market that is too competitive? Or am I just impatient?

I want to sell video tutorials for home audio recording. I have lots of experience and am a good teacher, so I really believe in my product. But there are zillions of sites out there, it turns out, that are already doing similar things.

The site went "live" and I started promoting efforts (video, blogs, your basic opt-in and offer, etc.) about 6 or 7 weeks ago. I have about 40 opt-ins for my list but not a single sale.

Since this is my first foray into internet marketing, I don't know what to expect. So, what do you think? Am I impatient? Or is there just too darned much competition?

Thanks! And see you around!

Jake

  • Patience is a virtue, and when it comes to internet marketing it is a fundamental one to have. YOU have to be patient. Remember that statistics prove it takes people up to 7 times seeing an Ad before they make a purchase and your program is not the exception.

Wow!! This is the most amazing forum EVER. I get 4 helpful responses in less than 30 minutes. I'm gob-smacked.

Anyway...as I pick my jaw up off the floor...

I didn't know about the 6-7 times of contact before someone will buy. I've probably sent just short of that many messages to my list.

Mohammad, to answer your question, the site is Starting a Home Studio Is Easy and Inexpensive

      Thanks again!
