Hello senior members, I just want to learn tips on how to market E-Books for an abstract artist? Does I need a mini website for it? Where I can include those e-books so that it gets sold and which can give me a good revenue of it. Please give me your valuable advice on it.

    Hello,
I personally would create a minisite for it otherwise how else are people going to know about your product.

However if you want to go the cheaper route with less start up expenses saving yourself the time and the money for a minisite.

It is also very important for traffic after you have your minisite. If your sales page is good and a good call to action with targeted traffic it could launch off and even by the word of mouth.

If you want immediate targeted traffic you can try adwords however just a warning it has become fairly pricey now a days. purchasing direct ads from related content can possibly reduce your expense as well.

I personally if intended to hold on to this would go with a more longer term solution such as SEO work to get organic traffic from people searching for a solution to this.

There are also many other ways to market your ebook and receive traffic. Many experience members here have wso on those topics and even freebies. You might want to give them a read.

You could also go immediately the forums with marketplaces for abstract artist and post your thread there. Then use it sort as your sales page however a minisite in my opinion is sort of one of those essentials in selling anything online.

But these is just my opinion(warning I don't know much about abstract art just my poke on this question) you should other advice and make a conscious and personal choice. No one can be responsible for your own choices success or downfalls. You can get other's opinion and input but ultimately you need to make the decision.

    Here's what I would do:

    Setup:
    Create a professional looking minisite
Create eye catching graphics (ecover, testimonial box etc)
    Setup a download page
    Setup the payment system
Make sure it is easy for the customer to get access to the product after buying it
Buy a copy myself to see if the site is functioning properly
    Marketing:
I would find people with email lists and would contact them to promote for me.
I would find authority sites in the niche and partner with them or advertise on them
I would write articles and submit the to article directories
    I would create hubpages
I would get backlinks to the site
    I would use PPC

    etc.
    Hope it helps

Best advice? Don't market an "eBook." Instead, offer challenge-breaking, problem solving information for the abstract artist who "wants to know".

I may be off with this advice, so be sure to ask around but the general consensus these days is that nobody wants to buy an eBook...they want their problems solved. They want to know how to overcome their specific challenges. They want "how to" information -- with information being the key word here (instead of eBook).

It's all in what you're focused on when you're selling. Selling an eBook? Meh. Selling a solution to my specific problem? Hey, what'sit you said? I'm listening...
