You guys may have noticed me recently coming up with different threads and asking for tips since I am new to IM.

I have understood niche, affiliate products and etc. Now, Its time for article writing. I have seen many of you guys just producing articles like a smoke. Well, whats the basic trick? I mean, do I need vocabulary, writing skills or a good topic to produce good articles.

actually the key is to get on first page of google...and to achieve that you have to choose a good and specific keyword phrase....so for example it will be easier to get on first page of google for the keyword phrase "hair loss treatment for men" than just "hair loss".

Also consider that the specific keyword phrase should be included in the title and a few times in the content of the article...it's also very important to analyze the competition...in that example you should check for example if ezine articles has an article with that title....if it has too much competition you should check for another keyword phrase...

A combination of all of these, plus a fair bit of imagination and determination.

However, let me make things a lot easier for you right now, with a simple article template you can use over and over again, which makes the job easier, as it breaks each article into manageable parts naturally.

Easy 500 word article writing template:

    Title

75-100 word introduction, this article is about XYZ, yadda yadda yadda, below I will show you five tips/share 6 secrets/outline the key facts/whatever.

    1. Point 1 - All about point 1

    2. Point 2 - All about point 2

    3. Point 3 - All about point 3

Fill the section above up with about 300-350 words and as many points as it takes.

75-100 word summary, so there we have it, in closing let us just recap, yadda yadda yadda.

    Done.

Use the search button and you will find everything you could possibly need as far as article marketing is concerned

  • It all begins with good keyword research. Find a keyword or keyword phrase that has at least 2000 searches a month, but doesn't have too much competition. A good rule of thumb is to find keywords that have less than 50,000 competing pages.
2,000 searches a month + less than 50,000 competing pages = good ranking with Google.

The number of competing pages is irrelevant if the first page of google is full of authority sites

when you enter your keyword into google, the sites on the first page only are your real competition, afterall, thats where you want to be isnt it???

It makes no difference to me whether there are 5,000 "competing" pages or 5,000,000. I'm actually competing, in either case, with only 10 of them, and those are the 10 on the first page SERPs.

What would you rather compete with: a keyword with 50,000 results including several highly established authority sites in the "top 10", or a keyword with 5,000,000 for which the "top 10" include 7 or 8 article directory articles which you can easily outrank?

Both are commonplace and realistic scenarios, by the way.

It's a mistake to select keywords according to the number of "competing" pages. Most of them are not "competition" at all and their number is irrelevant.
now thats something really unexpected xD

The basic smoke is to outsource. There are many good sites which you can get
articles really cheap. odesk.com is one of them.

Or you can buy PLR articles and spin them.

Writing does not come naturally to some people. I think a lot depends on your experience. The more your write, and the more you read...and I mean fiction, non-fiction, books, magazines, etc. the better and FASTER your ability to write articles will be.

I have quite a lot of experience writing in different contexts, but during my first IM article campaign, I set a goal of 30 articles in 2 weeks. At one point I set a timer for 20 minutes and forced myself to write at least a 350 word article in that time.

You can outsource them. I know folks who do this a lot. I tried it twice (admittedly with only one provider, Articlez.com) and was not that happy with the two I got back. Your mileage will surely vary.

And then in addition to the ability to write well (yes, grammar and spelling are important!), you have to add in the keyword, relevance, and competition into account.

      Hope that helps.

    Question!

How do I get to know that this keyword has less competition because every keyword that I had tried has the high competition tag with it :c

The more specific the keyword phrase the less competition should have so choose long keyword phrases....and look, for example in ezine articles, if any other article marketer has included that keyword phrase in the title...if nobody has included it... you have more chances to get traffic for that keyword phrase..

Writing article need a lot of different effort to do it. Like Ezine for example,, they will manually go through your article before the publish your article. A small grammar mistake will make them to reject your article..check your article first and make sure your acticle are "free" from grammar and spelling mistake! oNe more thing, ceck your article and see either your article contain is similar to another or not..
