Why the Blank Page When Commenting on Wordpress Blogs?

Almost have of the wordpress blogs I comment on send me to a blank page after I submit the comment. Nothing there at all but a blank page at /wp-comments-post.php

What's the deal with that? I'm not redirected back and not being given any type of confirmation. Makes me want to resubmit, but I get the same response.

Weird.

    That usually happens if Akismet has flagged the comment as spam. Either the comment was flagged, your domain is on the naughty list, or you attempted to submit a link back to a sub-page on your site instead of the top domain.

    Personally, I have found that anytime I include a link to anything other than the homepage (top level), I get sent to the blank screen.

    That is just my experience.
