Just getting started...Tired of the Rat Race

I am new to home-based business, forums in general, and this forum in particular. My husband and I just started our own home-based business in internet marketing. My husband has been tired of the rat race and continually trading time for money. We decided that with lots of hard work and determination, along with the great system we've found to base our business on, there was no reason not to soon be realizing our dream to work from wherever we want, to give more time and money to our passion for ministry, traveling, and other dreams; to simply enjoy freedom.

I stay at home, as I am pursuing some of my dreams regarding creative writing, freelance photography, and some volunteer work that I enjoy. So I have been working on the business, learning to become an internet marketer. Boy, is this a learning experience! I never considered myself "technologically savvy" but with the system we have through the business, I am being exposed to the wide array of marketing strategies. It's hard work for me right now, but it will be worth it.

It takes a lot of faith to pursue dreams.

Welcome Amy,

I think you will find everyone here very helpful. I would recommend that you spend some serious time reading through as many of the posts here as possible. Doing this will open you eyes to the many opportunities and different marketing strategies out there.

Then pick something of interest and jump in with both feet. And be sure to ask questions.

Yes, it true it make a lot of faith and desire. You have to believe it so hard that it will become a part of you. So, you must have goals and work on it every single day.
