Buy a Fresh US Company?

It's easy to form a US Company (everything can be done online) but it's hard to get the bank account for that company without traveling to US. It's even more hard to get a merchant account for that company, just because it's owned by a non-US citizen.

So, is there a service where a US citizen would form a company, get the bank account (and possibly the merchant account) and then sell this newly formed company to somebody overseas?

Looks like a workaround to traveling to US, but I must be missing something. I can't find such a service online, which must be a good indication that my workaround theory is flawed. Right?

The service that you are looking for is an excellent idea for non-US residents like yourself(and me), to get a US company complete with the necessary bank accounts. Unfortunately, I've done extensive research and even spoken to a US attorney, and apparently there are no such services yet, and whoever offers them to you, you'd better be wary.

To open a bank account a person needs to give out his personal information, like Social Security Number. That person's credit history will be affected and tied with that bank account. He well also need to pay taxes as an owner of that business or face money laundering charges. It's not as easy as it may seem.

What would be the personal advantage for you to have a company here?

Milan, your best path is to talk to American attorneys that specialize in foreign transactions and see what they say. I would think you would have no problem opening an investment banking account in the US with any of the investment houses. Especially, since they have clients all over the world.
