Best way to build a list on Wordpress?

INTERNET MARKETING

I have recently started a blog and have about ten to fifteen visits a day. I would like to capture some of this traffic through a opt-in or some sort of application. I would like to obtain some information about them so I can update them when I update my site. What is the best and free way to do this with Wordpress hosted on your own host?

Hi Taylor,

You can place an optin box at the sidebar using the widget
or you can use Seth Godin plugin so there is a link above every post
or page to your optin page or squeeze page.

  Another possibility is to keep a very simplified version of the html entry form code in a text file and just copy and paste it in manually at the end of certain blog posts...for a more random effect.
