Before you read that WSO ... (silly thing I do)

Mmm just bought a WSO that caught my eye and seemed a steal at $7 (you gotta love a good sales page and low price).

But before I'm gonna let myself read it - I've just made a list of the big things that will make a difference to my bottom line.

No reading it 'till I get some proper work done and move forward somewhat. Then I can relax and not feel guilty reading the WSO. And see how I can apply it.

Do you have any tips on productivity and gettings stuff done?

P.S. Who's the wise guy that says '... not buying WSOs?'

Yes, everyone loves those "You can make $10,000/day, with my $7 WSO" WSOs.....it's amazing how they charge so little for all their hidden secrets to earning over $3,000,000/year....lol

They must just really love the Warrior community.

Yes I have a few tips:

Stop doing anything which isn't moving you closer to your goals.

Unless your goal is to get bogged down, forget going into any forums or email clients until the end of your day.

You're not going to implode if you don't read every post made on your favorite forum.

You'll not "miss out" on Guru Bill's fantastic money making blowout if you read your mail at the end of the day. As a matter of fact, you will make money.

If you're not making any progress at the present time, the LAST thing you need to do is buy more hard drive fodder.

    Focus... work... reap the rewards.

The other thing I've learnt is that they'll always be another product! You know when something is about to sell out and you're like "I must get it now ..."

Well they'll be another alternative or improvement tomorrow so if you miss out ... you don't really miss out!

I try to stay focused on the basics. Although it doesn't always feel like it, deep down I already know everything I need to know in order to succeed online. One little "secret" in a WSO isn't going to replace the core elements of my business, so I'd be wiser to focus on those things first.

Keep todo notes, lists, etc... Use project management or scheduling software to organize your duties etc. Google docs and google extensions are great for that. We've worked them into our CMS and CRM for increased productivity by keeping more and more stuff in one neat organized place.

You could try allowing your significant other to nag you incessantly about making the rent. After a few "is that going to make you any money"'s you'll learn how to focus on the task at hand just so that he/she cannot nag you anymore.

    It usually works for me!

Everyone works differently. For me I need to mix it up. I can work very intensely on a project but little breaks throughout keep me fresh and keep me thinking. I have had many mental breakthroughs on something I put aside for a bit that I wouldn't have if I just kept grinding at it. Another example, I know people that can't get anything done if it isn't pin drop quiet. I love having the radio on and occasionally singing along while I work. I don't sing well but I do enjoy it.

The only wrong way to do anything is the way that keeps you from getting it done.

Make a "to do" list for every day at the beginning of the day - get it done that day.

Of course, I always have "pick a new WSO and buy it" on the list :-)
