Need help with Google Adwords

I created an adwords campaign with targeted keywords and the quality is 5/10 so why is the maximum estimated bid $10.00?

The competition of the chosen keyword(s) is high.

Try using some longer strings of keywords, narrow down your focus to specifics.

    Good luck!

have a look why the QS is so low

its probably your landing page thats not relevant to your keywords.

what are your ads like? do they contain your main keywords?

There is probably some very high competition for those keywords. Try using long tail keyword (keywords that have several words)
Think of the exact words you would put into a search engine if you were looking for that type of product.
Also for SEO (search engine optimisation) puposes it really increases your ranks if you use whatever keywords you have for adwords in the title of your webpage, 2-3 times every 100 words and as the LAST words on the page. You SEO will skyrocket!

That new rating system is new, so I would not rule out the possibilty of a quality score problem. Although it may just be a matter of competition.

The irony of fixing quality score is normally one of the first things you SHOULD do is raise your bids to induce higher CTR's. Also make sure your keywords are finely tuned to the AD text and landing page. You should have a few highly targeted ad groups with fairly short keyword lists.

If you have keywords with more than 200 impressions and no clicks, delete it, or the quality score problem could expand into the rest of the account. If your account has been running for a while, delete keywords with no clicks on an all time basis. Then re evaluate the layout.
