Selling / Flipping Websites Using XSitePro

I currently have a team of very bright students (essentially from the MIT of China) working for me in Shanghai to put together quality IM based websites that I would sell to others or keep for myself as adsense sites.

One idea I had was to buy XSitePro to help speed up this process, however I was a bit concerned about the stigma associated with selling or flipping non-blog type sites.

To make this short, I was hoping to find out answers to the following questions:

1) If I make a static website with XSitePro v. 2, will it provide me with easy to transfer files in the event of a flip or sale?

2) Will I scare someone away if I indicate that the site was made using XSitePro?

3) Will the buyer of the site need XSitePro to manage the files I give to him / her?

4) How much less will a non blog sell vs. a blog if I am creating niche based sites?

5) Once I buy the XSitePro license, will I be able to install the program on my workers' computers or will I need to buy multiple copies?

6) How nice can you make sites look? I played around with the trial version of Artisteer and wasn't impressed by the stock templates. However, I guess adsense/affiliate sites aren't necessarily built for style.

Thanks in advance,

Mike

    1) If I make a static website with XSitePro v. 2, will it provide me with easy to transfer files in the event of a flip or sale?
Yes - the files can be exported as ordinary html

    2) Will I scare someone away if I indicate that the site was made using XSitePro?
No because the site can be edited in any editor - dreamweaver, kompozer etc.

    3) Will the buyer of the site need XSitePro to manage the files I give to him / her?
    No

    4) How much less will a non blog sell vs. a blog if I am creating niche based sites?
If you're only creating start up sites it doesn't matter whether it's a html site or a blog, you won't make much profit unless your site has some traffic and revenue to report. The majority of these type of sites don't sell at all, and when they do they sell for very little. Of course if you have traffic and revenue there's no reason why a html site should sell for less than a blog.

    5) Once I buy the XSitePro license, will I be able to install the program on my workers' computers or will I need to buy multiple copies?
I would imagine you'd need to buy multiple copies - why not read the Xsitepro's terms and conditions and I'm sure you'll find the answer there.

    Hi,

Is there any particular reason why you believe Xsite will be quicker than Wordpress?

I actually only know Wordpress. The problem I see is I have no idea how to quickly customize an properly monetize a website using Wordpress unless I outsource the work (paying additional money). I would like to have the ability to quickly create my own templates and choose my own locations for adsense or amazon content. Ideally, I could do this with wordpress, but I don't feel as though Artisteer is as IM friendly as XSitePro.

Last night, I bought XSitePro 2. TO help me better understand the program, I bought through James Schramko's link (he is on the warrior forum, you can find his website through a search for "buy XSitePro 2" on Google). You give him your order # and he quickly gets back to you with a bunch of free bonuses to cut the learning curve significantly. I highly recommend this for anyone doing what I'm doing (although, it will take me weeks to go through all of his free material ).

      Thanks for the feedback.

What happened to your Chinese MIT students doing the work?

Do I sense a sneaky Xsite advert going here

...I want my actor's commission for playing a part!

        All the best

I was thinking of selling some of my old Xsitepro websites also but not sure how to transfer the site/html...like mentioned in some of these posts. So I am hesitant to post the sites on Flippa as I don't want to come across as not knowing what I am doing. If anyone can help me with this it would be hugely appreciated. I want to clean out my website portfolio of Adsense/Affiliate sites asap.
