Hi! I'm New, Need Help Please!!!

Hi all. I'm new to this site and semi-new to email marketing. I'm going to attempt my first webpage this week and need some help. I'm on more than a shoe-string budget and was wondering how I can get traffic to my website besides hubpages and wordpress. Does anyone know how to generate email campaigns (get email lists to send stuff to people) or anything like that? I'm on a Mac and haven't seen much software for Macs.
Also, does anyone know of any HOT products via Clickbank or whereever that I could jump on?
I'm starting from scratch, so any help would be appreciated. I refuse to go down this time!!

    Hi Steve,
    You might want to try offering something free in a Giveaway in exchange for optins. If you don't have a product of your own, try a PLR product you could change-up to make original and give that away.

    You could also try article marketing to drive traffic to your site, and have an optin box on your page.

    It seems you're looking for a one stop out the box solution but there really isn't a substitute for putting in the work!

    If you Google 30 day challenge you'll find some good beginner videos.

    Basically what we will want to do is place a web form on our
    website so that the visitors can enter their name and emailadress in order to get the free report or trial.

    Once they have been subscribed to our list we have the
    permission to contact them whenever we want. So what we willdo is offer them this free trial or report ...

    You can get traffic throug ezine articles, youtube, ppc marketing...

      The first thing you need is an autoreponder service, this will enable you to capture and store the emails addresses so you can then send future offers. Autoreponder services will also give you the code you need to place on your website, asking for name and email address and also taking care of the double opt-in. The next thing you need is something to offer people in exchange for name and email address. There are services out there that will help you with your listing building efforts and while many of them appear to be free they do have other motives as well. I realize you may have limited funds so it will take patients and work to build a quality list. My suggestion would be to use traffic and email exchanges to start they are free to join, they do take time and effort but we all have to start somewhere.

      Hi Steve,

      I'll agree with some of the other posters and say that article marketing is the way to go on a shoe string budget.

      It's the one thing for you to do that is effective and totally free. You can also put ads on US Free Ads or some of the other free classified sites. Some people use Craig's List. I can't say that I have, so I don't really know how good it is.

      You should google Bum Marketing. This is a course based on all free methods. It should also be helpful to you.

      One last thing is Ed Dale's 30 Day Challenge. Although I don't think all of the things you will learn are free, the course itself is free, and it's really informative. I've heard of a lot of people making there first money online after taking the 30 day challenge.

    The only real way to get access to an email list you can send promotions to is to build one yourself. Typically, this is done by offering something free (free report, free software, etc) in exchange for people's email addresses. Many people set this up on a squeeze page, which is a mini-webpage that collects the email addresses. Drive traffic to the squeeze page and you'll get opt-ins, which you can then monetize with email marketing.

    Basically:

    Article Marketing -> Squeeze Page -> Email Marketing
