What do you think about the Golf niche ?

Hi,

I see many marketers in the golf niche use videos for instructions...

I have a good ebook about golf (around 250 pages of pure content) and I think it would be a great idea to use its content to build my list. But, I'm afraid if I don't follow my list members with step by step videos, like the "big dogs" do, this will hurt my conversion rate!

What do you think guys ?

Waiting for your inputs

You can search for PLR Videos in the Golf Niche, edit them if permissions allows it and then you can change them into a step-by-step video course. Don't know in what price range that kind of videos are and what your budget is.

    Hi David,

On the basis that point 1. on how to create profits on the web is:

    - Find a hungry market...

    kind of answers that question!

    Go for it!

Yes, golf is a big industry! And Hungry? Of course it is But my question is about the medium and the distribution of the message.. as for now, I have just a nice golf book, no videos yet

        David,

I suspect it would be easier to compete with the "big dogs" if you didn't treat the whole subject of "golf" as a niche - it's far too generic a topic for such a description.

If you were to drill down, you might discover some real niches to exploit, such as: "correcting my slice" or "improving my short game".

These are just examples, but if you were to tightly focus on specific areas within golf where there was a genuine and more easily targeted demand for information/instruction, you may well be able to carve out a niche you could call your own.

Only one way to truly find out, but I do think that golf more then other niche's does benefit from video. Frankly speaking it is easier to copy someone's swing when you see it yourself on video, then when you read about it on a page.

Frank's right though, do the big guys really cover every possible niche? I've seen plenty of stuff on driving and improving short games, but putting and other more specific topics might still be wide open.
