Help!! I have messed up royally!!

Now don't everyone all laugh at once . I just set up a mini-site and I didn't do it right. Actually I got to thinking that I should have set it up a different way.

Here's what's going on. My domain is www.homebusinessurvival.com

My squeeze page has the address homebusinessurvival.com/index
My sales page has the address " " " " /rpcs_index

.........and so on.

How hard would it be to change this. I want to put up a blog called Home Business Survival. I want it to have the this domain name. BUT, I still want to put this mini site on the blog. Does anyone understand what the hell i'm trying to say?

I'm starting to get myself confused now. If someone can help me figure this out, I would appreciate it.

Have a nice day

    Anyway...

    I think you're thinking backwards.

Your blog should be on your site not vice versa.
There shouldn't be a problem getting your blog name the same as your domain name.
If there is a little trouble (which I still doubt there will be)
Simply put some underscores or hyphens like:
    Home-Business-Survival or Home_Business_Survival
Or really any variation of that you can think of.

I'm sure you won't have a hard time getting that name.

Also I've seen people have "yourdomain.com/blog"
and it's a direct connect to their blog on their website.

Also (haha seems like there's a lot of also's) you can have a blog link that links to blogger or whatever you use if you want it separate from the site.

Hope this helps, if it's not exactly what you are looking to do just ask again and I'll try my best to answer

Okay, so you have a squeeze page at www.homebusinessurvival.com/index.html, and a sales page at www.homebusinessurvival.com/rpcs_index.html.

You want to install a blog, so it appears at www.homebusinessurvival.com correct? That would only require you to move the squeeze page to its own page, like www.homebusinessurvival.com/spage.html (or whatever you want to name it). Then you could install the blog on Recession Proof Cash Strategies For Home Business Opportunities Hometown Page.

Or, if you want the squeeze page to show up on the blog (www.homebusinessurvival.com), simply install the blog as normal, and create a static page in your blog containing your squeeze page code, and make that your home page.

Thanks Gene and Ryan for your help. I thought I would have a heck of a time changing over to a blog. You've both made it seem a little easier. If I have any questions, I'll repost. Thanks again.

Just use your ftp software to rename homebusinessurvival.com/index to homebusinessurvival.com/salespage and then install Wordpress in the root domain.

      Done!

Rosetrees, I would like to thank you for your help. I tried to change the file, but it didn't work. Can you give me a little more information on how to do this.

What FTP software do you use? You should be able to just right click on it and click rename, just like you would if you were changing a file on your PC.
