My new gaming site

Hi, a newboy warrior here with a question. I just purchased a gaming site and I'm not sure how to promote it. I have done article marketing in the past but not sure if that would work on this site without reading like self promotion. The demographics would most likely be high school and college kids and perhaps a few adults with to much time on their hands. I am leaning towards social media, gaming forums, maybe a press release. Any ideas at all would be a great help. Jules !!

    Here are some hints

    1.Join the traffic exchanges like funklicks.com
    I get 500-1000 visits a month from them

    2.Have a blog with flash game reviews/walkthroughs/cheats

    3.SEO every game page

    You need alot of traffic for gaming sites to make good money.

    Thank you for your ideas. A blog with flashgame reviews etc sounds good, but where would I get the review info etc. I've never played any of these games on my site. Not yet anyway. JR

      Your post reminded me of a Flash games site I have that I've forgotten about. It runs on a PHP gaming script, so it a set-it-and-forget it site. Maybe we can exchange links? PM me.
