What s with this email from Truth About Abs, Diet Solution, EveryotherDay Diet??
Sounds pretty heavy handed. Only WeightLoss/Fitness Clickbank products? Any explanations?

Some excerpt:
"This is a serious email, as I have some issues that I need to address with all affiliates of TruthAboutAbs.com

Now first, let me start off by saying that some of this email is going to get negative. I'm not normally a negative guy... Most people that know me personally will tell you that I'm one of the most positive-minded people they know.

However there are some business details we need to set the record straight on here, and there are things that I've found certain affiliates doing that my company and I will not tolerate.

This includes taking legal action against affiliates who violate the affiliate agreement with Clickbank. This
includes getting your Clickbank account banned permanently...

...AND all "linked" accounts registered to the same person/tax id/SS number will be banned (not just the one account) for LIFE and the affiliate will never be able to promote on Clickbank again.

Got your attention? Good...

Before I get into the details on the "bad guys", let me first acknowledge the good guys.

I realize that 99% of the clickbank affiliates out there that promote TruthAboutAbs are honest and ethical in their promotions.

So PLEASE realize that the negative parts of this email are NOT directed towards the 99% of affiliates that are doing things honestly and ethically. I truly appreciate all of the affiliates that are driving sales of TAA in the RIGHT way. If you're one of the 99% of affiliates that are the good guys, I sincerely thank you.

But please don't stop reading this here thinking it doesn't apply to you... because the 1% of "bad guy affiliates" out there could ruin the entire affiliate program for you... and I know many of you good guys are relying on my site as your main livelyhood, so I don't want to be forced to take that away from anyone."

Seems pretty straightforward to me. What's your question?

You stopped just when it was going to get juicy. I don't get what you are upset about.

    Me either?

If it was about the negative things the affiliates were doing, the rest of the letter should have been posted.

If not then yes, it was badly written - but there isn't much else wrong it.

Wait, I'm totally confused. Was this sent to you by the owner of truthaboutabs? If not, who are you sending this to? Or better yet, why are you sending this? Who cares what other affiliates are doing

Here's a thread which will put the OP's post in perspective and give the full letter from Mike Geary of Truth About Abs:

I believe a few CB vendors have sent out similar emails in the last few hours.

Yea I got that same email from a few vendors of products I promote on clickbank. I'm assuming clickbank has contacted them and told them to contact all of there affiliates and say that because the two emails I got said the exact same thing.
