I need autoresponder service that lets you import your customer list...

without needing to have them confirm that they want to receive emails from you.

I know autoreponseplus.com allows this because you install it on your own hosting.

But I'm looking for a monthly service that will allow this?

Any suggestions?

Thanks, Ron

      Emailaces.com?

or Try sending a valuable free report from your present service/script > redirect them to aweber subscription page.

Remaining subscribers > try sending another report doing same thing. As they are already your subscribers, they don't mind subscribing second time to get your free report.

Thanks-I'll try emailaces.com and see if they will allow it.

I would rather not have them optin again if I can avoid it.

You might want to try UNDER RESPONSE....

They let you import anything, but they don't actually mail your list.

Or you could use HORIZONTAL RESPONSE

They let you import but they are always lying down on the job

I just checked and verticalresponse.com also requires them to optin. I think all services must require this to protect themselves from being accused of spam.

I think the only way to do this is with your own mailing or autoresponsponder script. I have several I use but I was looking for a client who just needed a service

Just curious- why move the list if it is already at an autoresponder service?

Icontact allows this. I tried them out but decided not to use the service.

I'm pretty sure GetResponse does as well. They'll track your
stuff at first and if they get a lot of spam complaints shut you
down... but as far a moving legitimate lists most AR companies
      seem to be tolerant.

Aweber may be a stickler because it conveys a message more
than because it enhances deliverability - a message that because
of stricter policies their system must be, by default, the most
reliable and secure - a form of branding.

GetResponse does NOT allow imports unless a confirmation message is sent.

Depends on how you got your list together.

    from GetResponse FAQs:

    "49.
I have a list of subscribers. Can I import them into the autoresponder? (PRO accounts only)

The only leads you are permitted to import are the leads that have requested to receive the information from you. GetResponse does not allow purchased lists to be imported into our system. It is the quality of the leads you have on your lists that matters, not the quantity. If you send people information that they have not asked for, it may result in serious accusations of sending out unsolicited emails.

However, if you have a full opt-in information for your prospect/s (such as their IP address, and the timestamp of their sign up) we may consider to import your list. Such requests are handled by our abuse Dept. and the decision is always based on individual cases. Please contact our Support Team to discuss moving your list to our services. "
