It seems like I should know the answer...

but I don't. So a quick question for all of you out there.

The situation.

I have a couple of great domain names in niches that, from previous experience, I know convert well. In the beginning I'll be acting as an affiliate for a few products. Sounds great right? It is.

But...

In order to have these sites up to the level that I want it's going to take me some development time. These are going to be two of my pet projects for the long haul, so I want complete control over everything at the beginning and won't be outsourcing anything that I'm capable doing myself.

I know that I can push traffic through articles and various other methods. My question is this.

If I have my domain set up to redirect to the sales page for now, will google index any pages/articles that I add to the site while I'm developing it?

As I said above, I know I can push traffic and get sales now, but the sites themselves won't be ready for some time. Ideally, I would like to be able to get credit for my original content before I submit it to directories and the like.

Is that possible, or am I just going to have to bite the bullet on this one and give eza or whatever directory I'm submitting the juice that goes along with the content being published there first?

And yes I know that I'm going to be missing out on building a list in the beginning. I don't like it, but I know I can cash in on this now, so I can live with that.
