Help: Other than Ezinearticles.com....

We do run article directory and when we started out we where too lenient with approving lot of articles just to get the count up but eventually it backfired as the overall quality of the article directory became too low and the bounce rate was very high so we really stepped up the quality control and deleted over 50% of low quality articles and it has made a such a big difference. Although it is very hard to get your articles approved now but once you do the benefits for the authors are lot better than submitting to the article directory that auto approves all the articles.

Opinions are opinions, and I have to disagree with this one.

As a writer myself, I have played with many "spinners," just to see "if" they "work." Most of them, including the one you're talking about, takes more work than writing 10 articles -- for me. In fact, I beta tested "the best spinner" before it was released.

None of them replace the human element, sorry. Of course, there may always be an exception to the rule -- but, I'd rather depend on myself to do it.

jetspinner.com is an online "free" example, but I could just as easily rewrite 10 articles in the time the original "spun" article can be written. Using Dragon Speaking Naturally, and even Microsoft Voice(whatever it's called), can work wonders.

This is my opinion, and no offense is intended to anyone: I find that people who use spinners and swear by them lack the proper writing skills to make such a judgment.

In much the same way, I am in no way a speaker. If there was a program that could "spin" 50 speeches for me, I would probably think it makes my life easier -- but, to the seasoned speech writer, they would suck. I am a horrible salesperson personally, but in writing, I can do it. Do I hear affiliates? (HINT HINT HINT)

And believe me, if I found a good spinner, I'd probably go ahead with it -- I just haven't found one that I could "trust" enough to preserve the human element.

This isn't entirely true.

While it is true that in many cases recently, ArticlesBase is outranking EzineArticles in the SE's, it is not true that they are instantly approved, especially if you have a new account.

With that being said, approval is generally completed within 24 hours. I've never waited any more than 3 hours.

And, I believe that they have a policy that when you submit a certain amount of articles to ArticlesBase, they are then auto-approved -- but, I do not think that is an official policy.

I haven't been submitting articles in the last 2 months at all -- been taking a break after submitting a boatload of articles to my former nemesis, EZINEArticles and reestablishing a connection with them(they awarded me platinum status, so I had a "digital" party -- punished them with submissions).

So, maybe something has changed in these areas, i don't know -- just telling you my previous experiences with ArticlesBase -- I think they are 2nd to Ezine, in my opinion.
