Opinions On Why My WSO Failed?

I have been selling niche sites as WSO's and they have been selling really well, my next product i have relased is a portal site so i released one about New Year Resolution.
It included 4 sub sites on Smoking, Drinking, Losing Weight & Get Fit.
So in summery you got 5 Sites & 41 Articles for $47.

I put up a WSO for this and only sold a couple of them and yet all my singles sites sell well.

so my question is why didnt it sell.
Here are some of the answers i though of but wondered if anyone else had any opinions?

  1. Wrong Price
  2. Wrong Subject
  3. Wrong Time To sell It
  4. Would have sold better as individual sites
  5. people dont like the look of sites
Any advice/opinions would be appreciated

Maybe the price point is a little high, try to split them up individually.

Thanks for opinion, i thought less than $10 per site was a good price, but i guess when you create a product you are too close to see the flaws

Maybe the right crowd didnt notice it.

Spudds I liked the WSO's when they were individual sites and you could pick and choose which ones you liked. I bought 2 or 3 from you and when I find out you're running a new WSO I typically wanted to buy one since they're an awesome deal, but lately I haven't because so far I haven't had a chance to use the ones I bought! Good luck!

      Hi!
I have purchased a site in the past from you,
      really great quality
since I havn't had time to set the site up
the portal offer was 'too much' both time and as one-time-investment.

OK thanks, i appreciate your comments.

I think i am going to release the next portal as planned and see what happens, if it doesn't sell very well i can always split into separate sites instead i guess

    Why not offer both options?
Let them buy individual or the set.
    Choice is good.

That is a good idea, only problem i can see with that is i limit each site to only 50 copies and each time i sold 1 individual site i would have to sell 1 portal less.

But it might be an option

If you update the content, you should be able to resell the same packages.

        Launching a V 2.0, V 3.0, etc.

This works well with holiday themed sites especially.

        Good luck!
