I am not clear concerning how to generate quality and upto date news for my site. I have seen some news aggregators that pull news but am not satisfied. Now, how can i get first hand news. Should i hire someone to generate news for me in software niche or buy it, and where can i buy it if that is the case.

Participate in software communities, like newsgroups, forums, attend software industry trade shows like SIC - Software Industry Conference for ISVs and MicroISVs and launch products you will get exposure in those circles from download reviewers etc...
