I know it's been mentioned....but defintely the 30DC. I'm fairly new too....their course has been soooooo helpful.

Two things you can try:

1) Sell your own product

2) Sell other people's products

I'd suggest you read stuff to work on your mindset and develop and entrepreneurial mindset first before getting into all those "systems" and "Formulas". Too many people are failing big time simply because they haven't got their mindset straigthened out.

try and read around a little bit and get more info on internet marketing before going right in and buying anything. In the begining its also really hard to keep going but just dont give up and take your time its not as easy as a 1 2 3 like a lot of sites make its seem. I personally recomend using the site in my signiture its the one i used to start out.

Never again should you stake your hard earned resources without identifying a mentor you can submit to, who is likely to take you through the ropes in the IM world.
Too many are telling this or that trying to get your money into their pocket. Every now and then,one tells you, spend none of your money until you've read MY MESSAGE. And you know the message, I've got the best.
Pls do me a favor, get hooked here and learn all you can. Ask all the questions you can AND THEN TAKE THE ACTION SPECIFIED AFTER SERIOUS COMPARISONS.

I wouldnt worry about books, internet marketing changes so quickly anything but books written in the past 6 months will be outdated. Everything you need is online.

Im sure this question is relative; some will say X, others Y.... but if you want true value for money, then consider joining the private section of this forum (the war room).

There's some great content posted; sure some of it is dud, some of it is WSO's, others are irrelevant to what you need /right now/ but further down the road you might remember seeing that offer in there that you eventually need.

Right now there are a few free things in there on the first page that might give you the answers you are looking for....

Do your research using google before you purchase anything. You will be surprise how much information you will find for free and i am talking quality stuff.

you just have to search through the net.. there are a lot available... i am sure you could find.. especially social media marketing..

I have trouble reading e-books, watching webinars has been much better for me to learn Internet Marketing.

I recommend you start from something very simple ... which you know you can start implementing with minimal learning curve.

One of the few such things is to learn how to write articles and publish them online.

Once you learn the art of writing well researched, SEO optimized articles then you can start freelancing service by offering content writing service to the online clients. This is a great way to start as a newbie marketer online....

I definitely recommend grabbing Yaro Starak's Blogging Blueprint in his blog, Internet Marketing Blog - Entrepreneurs-Journey.com by Yaro Starak.

Another ebook that helped me when I was new is SEO Easy Way by Brad Callen. You can get it free in one of his sites. Just search it and it will come up. These contains lots of information which you should learn as a newbie. Even the basics are covered.

I would hold off purchasing any products until you have a little more knowledge of IM and a plan of action. Read through the sections of the forum...There is also the War Room, but free areas hold a wealth of info to get you started as well.

I understand your frustrations, but keep in mind that what works for one person might not be right for the other. I have been successful, but I floundered until I learned the basics the right way (i.e. how to make my web pages, format properly, monetize correctly, etc)

I took training and still am taking training, and from someone who really is a true teacher, and someone who cares about my success.

I don't even worry about the SEO's anymore. But I now have several marketing avenues that I can explore sales with. It is a numbers game. I diversify my marketing. (i.e. many streams of income, etc)

I learned all this from one person, and incorporated my own creative ideas as well.

Have you thought about using Internet Marketing skills to provide services to businesses around you right now? This is referred to as Local Internet Marketing.

Whatever you do, it was important to me to build a sustainable business for long term growth. Albeit many might argue with me, for example, affiliate marketing is far from sustainable. Flipping domains, or using blackhat SEO are ways for short term gains. Selling someone else's stuff is just a sales job, except online. It's not entrepreneurship, imo. It's not bad, it's just now the sustainable model I sought out.

SEO is just that, optimizing a site to rank. It's not marketing. Effective quality marketing of a website will naturally get high rankings, not following the many principals many people are teaching. Here's an older post to what I'm talking about, how SEO is Bull****. Don't get me wrong, it's still a practice just focusing the right means, as related to your question about making money.

Making money online is not as easy as some gurus make it to be. It requires lots of skills, patience, and dedication. You have to constantly upgrade your skills and be the master of everything. If not, then you have to outsource some of it.

The skills I consider important are:
-Good copywriting
-Good web design skills. YOu have to have an eye for good presentation and organization of information. You only have 5 secs to impress someone who visits your website!
-Learn how to master PPC
-Analytics skill to analyze the data and constantly optimizing your site to increase conversation, time on site, traffic, etc
-Learn how to use social bookmarking, facebook, youtube, forum participation, blogs commenting to drive traffic to your site.

Now, here are some easy and low cost online business models to get started and earning money right away
-Affiliate Marketing : Make money by promoting other people's products. Join affiliate networks such as cj.com, shareasale.com, clickbank.com, etc and look for products to promote
-Make money from google adsense. This requires you to create and build a content rich website and then put up google adsense ads on strategic locations on your website.

Although I haven't made enough money to quit my full time job, the skills that I have learned have opened lots of career opportunities for me. I now can do consulting and help other business owners grow their business with online marketing or I can find a job as a internet marketing specialist which is in high demand right now.

Learn by practice. Ebooks and WSOs will point you on the right direction, not teach you all the way.
