Simple Wordpress Question

Hi Warriors, i have a simple wordpress related question.

I have a blog with 1 post, the review post was posted on it few weeks back, the content is posted on "wordpress post". This has been indexed by google.

But now i want my content to be posted on "wordpress page", so i just plan to delete my "wordpress post" and post is on "wordpress page"

Since google has already indexed my first "wordpress post", i was wondering if this will be considered as duplicate content as i will post same content ( of indexed "wordpress post") on my new "wordpress page". ?

Of course i will be deleting the "wordpress post" when i post content on "wordpress page"

Will there be a duplicate content issues?

I don't think you would need to worry about that. Plus, depending on how you had set up your permalinks for your posts, you might be able to create the same link for your page, once you deleted your post.

    Hey mate,
just post up the new content, remove the old content and issue a 301 redirect.
    Should be fine.

On a 1 post site it wont matter at all.

Just delete the post and make a page. No harm done.

I agree that deleting the old post most probably won't produce a noticeable change...
