I thought I would post a bit of my experience which may be helpful. I have a time management blog and wrote three ebooks before I joined here. After joining here I tried a generate additional revenue with Adsense, text ads, CPA offers etc and looked for more ways to monetize my content. I have now removed all of this stuff from my website and only sell one product and give away two. I focus my energy on writing new content for the website and promote it through an occasional article, some booksmarks and tweets ans participation in forums in my niche. I realized there is no reason to give away an ebook unless you can sell something more valuable. Don't give away something worth $12.99 to try to get a gagillion adsense clicks

The result of this focus has been an increase in revenue with less time. The takeaway from this for new members, is to create if you can original content and through a combination of promotion ie marketing and smart giveaways and participation, you can start to make consistent money. The key is to start writing in your niche. I hope this post helps someone.

    I thought you were encouraging us to write constantly. Yes I got the information about writing "new Content". Will I be correct if I say you
    emphasize that newbies should do the following:
    *Promote one website
    * Concentrate on one product
    *focus on creating an original content
    *participate in Forum and promote your website
    Thereafter enjoy a good flow of interested buyers
    I will be so glad if you can. Then, we'll be sure multitudes will benefit

      I think it would be wise to focus on one website, write lots of new original content which mostly is used on the website or blog and if the niche allows an original ebook which can be sold. If the niche has forums, participation in them can be a good source of traffic/buyers. This method was a huge learning experience for me as well, to see what worked and didn't.

      I was too scattered, not by being in too many niches but in how I monetized my niche.

    Well the consistency and 'constant' concept is always been around for blogging, I mean if I didn't write consistently etc on my Adsense blogs for example my daily visitors and page views will decrease and decrease until I write another post. Same concept as long as there is frequent content available for my visitors to read my earnings are up.
